One of the more weird fibro symptoms is extreme itchiness. Not everyone has this symptom, but boy do I. It is not fun being unbearably itchy. The technical term is chronic urticaria and is caused by having too much histamine in your body. One of the many ways our fibro brain causes the wrong signals to be sent out to the body. Anti-histamines are the quickest way to stop the itch. However, prevention is key. Keep your skin moisturized and hydrated. This is going to help so much! Also reducing exposure to any allergens. Hope this helps!
